Numerical Analysis of the IC Tag Near the Conductor Cylinder Pipes Using FDTD Method

Abstract(in English) RFID is the authentication system that read and write IC tags wirelessly. It is used for product management. However, if the tag is attached near the metal, there is the issue that it can’t be read due to the interference between the metal and microwave. In this paper, we numerically analyze the IC tag attached near the conductor cylinder pipe using the FDTD method. First, we pursue the electric field distribution for one to multiple pipes and verify the region of weak electric fields. Then, we also calculate the surface current distribution of the antenna of the tag and examine the attachment position of the tag.
