Abstract(in English) In this study, we discussed the structural parameters that realize the wider bandwidth of a polarization splitter consisted of fiber1 with a single core and fiber2 with circular pits that touch the top and bottom of a single core. As the refractive index distribution of the core, W-type and step-type are adopted for fiber1 and fiber2, respectively.
