Abstract(in English) In this report, we examine the separation of the longitudinal and transverse components of the electromagnetic field. The electromagnetic field distribution in real space is obtained by FDFD (: Finite-Difference Frequency-Domain) and transformed into the wavenumber space using Fourier transform. The electromagnetic field in the wavenumber space is separated into longitudinal and transverse components. These two components are inverse transformed into the real space and their field distributions are obtained. Our proposed method is applied to verifying the surface plasmon analysis in terms of a longitudinal and transverse components.
