Abstract(in English) The active layer above the permafrost shows dynamic changes as thawing and freezing are repeated in response to large temperature variations between the summer and winter seasons. By applying interferometry processing to spatially and temporally detailed time-series SAR data, we develop a technology to observe vertical movement due to freezing of the ground in winter and conduct research to quantify the temporal changes of frost heave in permafrost.
