Abstract(in English) Visual programming environments are appropriate for learning programming for novices learners. VP environments offer learners available parts of a program as figure elements like blocks, and the learners can create a program by combining the blocks. Since programs composed of blocks do not include syntax errors, the learners do not need to correct the errors; therefore, the learners concentrate on learning the basic concepts in programming. On the other hand, learners majoring in computer science / engineering need to migrate from VP programming to text-based programming like C language. The authors thus add blocks to be written C language program and enable the blocks to be combined with the existing blocks to support progressive migration from VP to C language programming. We previously proposed a method for implement to execute programs combined VP and C language; however, we found the method include some problems. This paper describes an improved method and the experimental evaluation of the progressive migration on an VP environment.
