Abstract(in English) We are conducting research on an advanced Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting - Terrestrial (advanced ISDB-T) to realize 4K/8K services for fixed reception and 2K service for mobile reception within a channel simultaneously. Toward the practical application of the system, we considered an earthquake early warning (EEW) transmission by using subcarriers for low-latency channel (LLch) that are not used for data transmission such as video and audio. In this paper, we verified the transmission performance of the LLch for the fixed reception and for mobile reception by laboratory and field experiments, and it was confirmed the effectiveness of the LLch transmission.
