Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In previous research, a logic learning system was developed that gives learners a proposition and assembles triangular logic consisting of data, warrant, and claim, and the learning effect has been confirmed through experimental use. As one development of this research, the influence of the propositions that compose logic on logic construction activities when they are (1) common sense, (2) meaningless, and (3) unusual has been investigated. In this research, based on the triangular logic assembly problem composed of propositions that can be said to be common sense, we prepared isomorphic problems that made the propositions meaningless and unusual, and experimentally examined the effects of meaninglessness and unusualness. As a result, it was found that meaninglessness and unusualness significantly lengthened the time required for resolution, and that meaninglessness had a greater effect than unusualness. It was also found that the increase in the time required for the isomorphic problem due to meaninglessness and unusualness has a significant negative correlation with the time required for the common sense problem. This suggests that in the logical construction of common sense problems, the use of what we know contributed to a quick solution rather than the construction as a logical structure. |
