Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Maze tasks have been used in research related to human and animal brain function and learning ability. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of human spatial cognition and working memory ability in the process of learning maze tasks. We prepared a task of 3D maze and searching with different difficulty levels and two tests for working memory. The experiments were conducted with 4 subjects. We analyzed the relationship between spatial cognitive ability and the distance searched in the wrong direction, and the relationship between working memory ability and the number of search branch directions.
