Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There is a growing need for estimation of human presence/absence detection in a room for crime prevention, watching over the elderly, and monitoring the workers. This study aims to realize human presence/absence detection using radio waves, by focusing on the changes in the wave propagation affected by human motion. This paper proposes a method of wavelet transform based indoor human presence/absence detection using several receivers with RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) of 920 MHz band radio waves. The proposed method extracted RSSI fluctuation according to the state of human using wavelet transform. And, we tried to improve of detection accuracy in combination of RSSI obtained by several receivers. We evaluated the detection accuracy in several methods using record of presence/absence system. As a result of evaluating several detection methods, one of the methods achieved the accuracy rate of 90 %.
