Sharing of Bio-signal Detection Electrode and Human Body Communication Electrode and Inter-interference Countermeasure in Wireless Wearable Robot Hand

Abstract(in English) In recent years, wearable robots that are worn on the human body have been attracting attention for their applications in the medical, welfare, and industrial fields. A wearable robotic hand can perform various motions by controlling motors of the electric hand with biological signals such as myoelectric signals and brain waves. Our research group has been working on the wireless control of wearable robots by using human body communication (HBC) in the 10-60 MHz weak radio band. The wireless communication using human body communication does not require an antenna, and the bio-signal detection electrode and the human body communication electrode can be shared, which is expected to reduce the circuit size and im-prove convenience. In this paper, we report on method of sharing the bio-signal detection electrode and the human body communication electrode, as well as a countermeasure for the inter-interference caused by the sharing.
