Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the field of human communication research, it has been frequently pointed out that the social usefulness of the technology has been unclear while people are enthusiastic about developing new products. The reason for this situation is that engineering researchers have not had a reliable methodology for evaluating the social usefulness of their products in their papers. In this study, we will examine how to evaluate the social usefulness of products in human communication research. Specifically, we will refer to " Social Impact Measurement," which is widely used in the fields of non-profit organization management and social enterprise, and seek a method to evaluate the products generated in human communication research.
