Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The demand for remote software development is expected to increase as telework and other measures are recommended in response to infectious diseases. The team development method called "mob programming" is originally a method in whith three or more developers and collaborators gather in front of a pc to develop software. Recently, many cases of remote mob programming have been reported. We are investigating a method for sharing the status of attention to the development project among developers and collaborators through avatars, in order to improve communication problems among developers and collaborators that have been obtained through actual remote mob programming experience. In this paper, we discuss how to apply the method of sharing information such as whether each developer is looking at the shared development screen, speaking, or paying attention to any part of the screen, in a video conferencing system.
