Early detection of false information on Twitter by deep learning with sequential data of user and text

Abstract(in English) The spread of false information has become a problem in the development of SNS in recent years. False information may have an adverse effect on the world in terms of politics, economy, disasters, etc. However, it is difficult to detect quickly by hand, and thus the development of technology for automatic early detection is required. In this research, we propose a method for early detection of false information by deep learning using features extracted by using RNN and CNN from tweet users and tweet texts, while considering the time series of tweets for Twitter. As a result of comparing only the user features and the text features in addition to the user features, it is found that the performance of the model can be improved by adding the text features.
