A video smoke detection algorithm based on optical flow using multi-frame cumulative smoke motion

Abstract(in English) Detection of smoke in the early stages is essential for the prevention of fire. This research proposes a method for a system that detects the position of smoke from its movement in a pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera image and moves the viewpoint to that position. This method uses optical flow and superimposes the movement vectors of multiple video frames to reduce noise and perform accurate smoke detection.
