| Abstract(in English) | Various structures have been proposed to expand the left-handed region of the right-handed/left-handed combined transmission line (CRLH-TL) using microstrip lines. However, in the conventional structures, it is difficult to obtain good transmission characteristics in the left-handed region due to the impedance mismatch between the input and output lines and the CRLH-TL. In this paper, an $omega$-type capacitive gap structure is used to expand the left-handed region. In addition, the ladder-type inductance structure stabilizes the Bloch impedance of the unit cell at 50+j0 $omega$ over the left-handed frequency range. Finally, the measured and calculated values are compared for experimental verification. |
