Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We can distinguish ourselves from others. However, the boundary can be ambiguous. We investigated whether or not the perception of one's own voice changes before and after adaptation to a situation in which one's own voice is fed back to another's voice. In Experiment 1, we found that when other-voice is presented as the auditory concomitant of a participant's own speech, is perceived as a self-voice. In Experiment 2, we measured the change in the boundary between our self-voice and other-voice. Results raised the possibility that the boundary between self and others shifts toward others.
