Abstract(in English) | Random access distributed coordination function (DCF) is widely used as a medium access control protocol. We have proposed success prioritized DCF (SP-DCF) in which a success STA has priority based on a probability, and we have clarified that the SP-DCF enables to reduce the number of frame collisions as compared with the conventional DCF. In this manuscript, we develop a performance analysis model of SP-DCF which enables us to estimate the throughput for any given a number of STAs and network traffic. The performance analysis results show that the SP-DCF achieves higher throughput as compared with the conventional DCF and we describe the current issues of the proposed performance analysis model. |
