Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose a minimum distance norm that the end device (ED) exists after a certain distance from the center of the area and evaluate the effect of the Adaptive Data Rate (ADR) function on energy efficiency [bits/J] for LoRaWAN, which is one of the LPWAN (Low power wide area networks) standards to realize IoT. The effect of user distribution on energy efficiency when the value of SF is changed is evaluated by computer simulation (network simulator, ns3), and the impact of SF allocation based on ADR when ED is distributed on the edge side of the area is shown. In particular, we show that ADR works particularly effectively from the viewpoint of energy efficiency in an environment where ED is concentrated on the edge side of the area, and show the suitable conditions for the energy efficiency.
