Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is known that communication is important to maintain romantic relationship. Long-distance relationships generally break up easily due to a lack of face-to-face communication with their partners. Some of studies have developed devices that support long-distance communication. In this paper, we investigated the features of non-face-to-face communication in romantic relationships. Six couples’ non-face-to-face communication were recorded as log sheets using the dairy recording method, and we analyzed the features of the contents. One of the things we found that the messages between them and their partners varies depending on the time of the day.
