The effect of realization model on the spatial accuracy of binaural synthesis based on spatial function

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we investigated the effect of the realization method on the accuracy of sound space synthesized by the binaural technologies using spherical microphone arrays and head-related transfer functions. In the analysis, the binaural technologies were implemented not only based on the spherical harmonic spectrum but also based on the spatial functions. The result of the computer simulation revealed that there is no difference in the accuracy of the sound space synthesized by the implemented methods based on spatial functions. On the other hand, the difference of the domain in which the technology was implemented affects the accuracy of synthesized sound space.
