Abstract(in English) | ToF's operational issues include multi-user interference and intentional attacks by third party. To deal with such interference, we propose an indirect ToF system with a code discrimination function. In the system, signal light is code-modulated, decoded with a sensor, and collated with the original code, aiming to improve the reliability of ToF measurement. From the viewpoint of data communication speed, in-pixel operation is desirable, and we considered methods for in-pixel distance measurement and code discrimination by pulse generation with a pulse frequency modulator (PFM) and pulse processing. This paper shows system simulation, the chip design and measurement results. |
