Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Illusions are usually in the form of illusion images (still images), illusion movies (looped images), and illusion sound files, but they have the disadvantage that the parameters are fixed and they are not interesting for experience. In February 2020, the author raised the possibility that humans experience through illusory experiences is related to the production of familiarity/novelty as explained by evolutionary biology, and may be a theme suitable for "wellness entertainment" in terms of brain activation (MCI prevention/rehabilitation). In October 2020, the author also reported on a kind of game production exercise with variable parameters of the degree of illusion as a distance education for interactive multimedia design. In this paper, I will report on a case study of an in-person lecture that follows and develops both of these ideas, aiming at the realization of wellness entertainment through multimodal illusions, including the possibility of new illusions research and the sense of touch and haptics.
