A Basic Survey on Like Acquisition in Instagram with Post Features

Abstract(in English) We conducted a survey on what kind of photos are most likely to get “Likes” on Instagram.In this study, we examined the relationship between the number of “Likes” and the face existence, the degree of smiling, the degree of physical attractiveness, the image processing on the face, and the number of tags for four categories: “coming-of-age ceremony”, “graduation ceremony”, “cafe” and “travel.” The results showed that smiling had no effect on the number of “Likes”, and image processing on a face reduced the number of “Likes” in all categories. There was also a positive correlation between physical attractiveness and the number of “Likes” for graduation and cafe categories.
