Abstract(in English) | In this presentation, we outline the development of a wireless emulator as part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) research project "R&D for the realization of high-precision radio wave emulator in cyberspace," and present the results of the study on the method for the speeding-up the simulation of the shielding effect of moving objects in a factory as a basic study of the method for simulating dynamic radio wave environments. The ray tracing method, which is a method to simulate radio wave propagation, requires more computation time as the model becomes larger and more complex, and it is difficult to evaluate a dynamic model with moving shields in a short time. In our method, the path is estimated by the ray tracing method for a model without moving shields, and the paths that intersect the shields are removed. We compared the results of our method to the results of the ray tracing method for 3D models which represent moving shields for each location. As a result, we confirmed that the similar results can be obtained in a shorter calculation time with our method. In addition, we report the results of a method for reducing the number of paths by setting a threshold on the path power and a method for clustering paths. In the former method, we obtain similar results in a shorter calculation time because paths which contributes to the received power calculation are reduced. On the other hand, in the latter method, the calculation time was reduced by calculating the received power with clustered paths which are defined paths and widths. However, the difference between the calculated received powers obtained by the latter method and those obtained by the conventional method is larger than that by the former method. It is necessary to compare these results with experimental results to improve the accuracy. |
