Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a low-complexity beamforming algorithm for coordinated multi-point (CoMP) millimeter-wave wireless communication systems subject to random path blockages. This paper aims to reduce the complexity due to the stochastic learning necessary to design robust beamforming. We hence propose low-complexity beamforming design algorithms using the lower or upper bounds of the outage probability and a hybrid scheme with stochastic learning. Computer simulations show that all the proposed algorithms can reduce the complexity while keeping the outage probability low. Especially, our hybrid approach achieves comparable performance to the conventional one with a complexity of less than 1/10. |
