| Abstract(in English) | In recent years, many companies are introducing RPA tools to improve their business operations by automating their tasks. In order to achieve rapid implementation of RPA tools and effective business operation improvement, it is important not only to analyze the business operations and identify the routine tasks that are frequently performed, but also to understand the routine operations (i.e. button clicks, text box entry, etc.) that are repeatedly performed to help create RPA scenarios. Conventionally, these analyses are performed based on interviews with the persons in charge, but the cost of interviews is high. In addition, methods for visualizing operation procedures and extracting routine operations using user interaction logs have been proposed, but it is difficult to identify routine operations from the logs that contain a wide variety of operations. This report proposes a method for extracting routine operations from user interaction logs by applying the multiple sequence alignment technique to the logs that contain a variety of operations. This method aims to support business analysis for introducing RPA tools. We also report the evaluation results of the proposed method that were done on several in-house business tasks. |
