Abstract(in English) | This paper investigates the acquisition of an automatic design technique for a microstrip bandpass filter (BPF) having transmission zeros through deep reinforcement learning. In filter design, in general, the designer sets initial values of structural parameters and then adjusts them to meet design specifications using a commercially available electromagnetic simulators combined with optimization methods. However, this process is still largely dependent on the designer's expertise and intuition. In this paper, it is demonstrated through an example of BPF design that the structural parameters can be automatically designed through a deep Q-network constructed by reinforcement learning, thereby verifying the filter design technique can be acquired by a computing machine. |
