Abstract(in English) In this paper, we verify the substitution effect of frequency conversion method for filtered-x LMS algorithm applied to active sinusoidal noise control. According to the first order filter expression of NLMS (Normalized Least Mean Square) algorithm, the filtered-x LMS (Least Mean Square) algorithm can be substituted by a kind of low pass filters. The frequency conversion method adjust the amplitudes of sine and cosine waves radiated from a loudspeaker, by using the outputs of the low pass filters to which the products of the error microphone output and the reference sine and cosine waves are applied. In this paper, we show the advantages of the frequency conversion method and then demonstrate using computer simulation that the frequency conversion method successfully works.
