[Poster Presentation] Multiple Access Method for Image-Sensor-Based Visible Light Communication Using Coded Exposure

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) method using coded exposure as a multiple access method for flicker-free image-sensor Visible Light Communication. In the conventional image sensor type Visible Light Communication with undersampling, one exposure is made for one frame, and the change of the light source blinking is captured by shortening this exposure time. In the proposed method, an image of one frame is captured by multiple exposures and received by CDMA by using orthogonal codes for the exposure patterns. In principle, the proposed method can improve the total exposure time in one frame compared to the conventional method. Through communication experiments, we confirmed that the proposed method can be used for communication when the total exposure time is 4.762 ms at 20 fps.
