Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A method that delivers information to mobile nodes in target areas preventing disordered spatial spread of information by permitting mobile nodes to transmit data via wireless direct links only in designated areas (Transmittable Areas (TAs)) is called Information Floating. Information Floating has capability to virtually accumulate data while it is originally considered as a method for information dissemination. Cooperation of multiple TAs realizes reaccumulation of temporarily lost data, and a theoretical model to evaluate this capability of reaccumulation has been proposed. In this theoretical model, TAs are assumed as points on a road; however, we actually need to control the size of each TA according to the density of nodes. In this report, we propose a method to compute the size of a TA to realize sufficient reaccumulation, and show its effectiveness. Also, we explain that the virtual accumulation by Information Floating can be applied to estimation of the density of nodes for the control of TA.
