Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) By an epidemic of COVID-19, many restaurants have been operated following the guidelines for infection prevention. To reduce the risk of infection in restaurants, it is important to keep a distance between customers. Hence, many restaurants seem to adopt an operation in which customers are free to choose their seats according to a seating chart prepared in advance. On the other hand, if the seating position of customers can be properly controlled, the infection risk can be greatly reduced. In this study, therefore, we propose a management model of taking seats that can effectively reduce the increase of infection risk.
