Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Modern digital audio systems automatically convert the sampling frequency of audio media. It makes the system user-friendly. However, it is not desirable for testing subjective responses to various types of speech materials, which usually use different sampling frequencies. Converting material sampling frequency before preparing test stimuli is another strategy. It bypasses the intervention of the system's sampling frequency conversion. We measured the effects of these sampling conversions using the acoustic measurement tools we developed. The tool uses an extended time-stretched pulse called CAPRICEP (Cascaced All-Pass filters with RandomIsed CEnter frequencies and Phase polarity). It makes the tool simultaneously measure the time-invariant linear response, the time-invariant nonlinear response, and random and time-varying components.
