Abstract(in English) | This report proposes and experimentally assesses a non-contact blood pressure estimation method using a microwave and KNN (k-Nearest Neighbor algorithm). First, the proposed method extracts a heartbeat component of vital signs from the measured propagation channel response obtained by CW-MIMO (Continuous Wave - Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) radar. After that, this method learns the relationship between some features in the microwave waveforms and simultaneously measured blood pressure observed by a continuous sphygmomanometer. Finally, the blood pressure value is estimated by using KNN classification. The experiment results show that the proposed method can detect non-contact blood pressure using microwave radar. |
