| Abstract(in English) | EMC designs and countermeasures are significant as the performance of the electronic equipment becomes higher and the system becomes more complicated. The author is researching structures of magnetic field probes for measuring the electro-static discharge (ESD) propagation path of the entire printed circuit board (PCB). To measure the ESD propagation path of the entire PCB by applying ESD once, it is necessary to detect to the magnetic field generated from the trace in multiple directions. In general, magnetic field probes such as loop antennas are not possible to detect the magnetic field generated from the trace in multiple directions because the sensitivity cannot be obtained unless the magnetic field passes through a loop surface. Therefore, it is necessary to rotate magnetic field probes many times. In this research, three new structures of magnetic field probes are proposed, and the evaluation is carried out by the analysis. As a result of the evaluation, we confirmed that each magnetic field probes have good sensitivity characteristics depending on angles of traces. |
