On Secondary Side LC Series Resonant Converters Using Leakage Inductance

Abstract(in English) LLC current-resonant converters, which are DC-DC converters using soft-switching technology, are expected to be applied to various power supply circuits due to their advantages of small size, low noise and high efficiency. In this paper, as an application for high-voltage and low-current power supply circuits, a case where a circuit using secondary-side LC resonance is used as a power supply for a vacuum tube amplifier is investigated. In addition, we propose to control the resonant converter, which is usually controlled by frequency control with duty cycle = 50%, by time ratio control. As a result, it was confirmed that it is possible to control light loads, which could not be controlled sufficiently by frequency control alone.
