Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes an estimation method for channel quality of TDD (Time Division Duplex) SVD (Singular Value Decomposition) -MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) systems using imperfect transmit and receive weight matrices. The system is standardized for next generation FPUs (Field Pick-up Units) which will be used for mobile relay broadcast programs. The conventional estimation method for channel quality targets only noise enhancement factors calculated by singular values of channel matrices. However, there are any other degradation factors for SVD-MIMO systems using imperfect weight matrices. The difference between estimated and actual channel quality leads to deterioration of adaptive transmission control performance. This paper proposes and evaluates an improved method which targets both noise enhancement and interference factors between channels, and an adaptive transmission control method suited for the estimation method. |
