Abstract(in English) In recent years, the number of patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA) has been increasing. In TKA, the osteotomy is performed at a predetermined angle to the mechanical axis, however there are many challenges in estimating the mechanical axis in clinical settings. Tamaki et al. developed a Simple TKA Support System V1 to estimate machine axes in a simple way using a three-axis inertial sensor. Therefore, to improve usability, we developed the "Simple TKA Support System V2" with additional free position adjustment function and automation in this study. In order to improve the accuracy of the functional axis estimation, the difference from the mechanical axis was calculated theoretically.
