Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Radar Cross Section (RCS) are used not only in aircraft and ships but also in automobiles and human fingers, which is important indicator to research and develop reflect array, absorbers and among others. In order to measure the RCS, it is necessary to keep a distance between the transmit antenna and the target to satisfies the far-field. In addition, low noise and no interference caused by other electromagnetic waves are required, however, it is difficult to keep such an environment. The compact range system enables RCS measurement even in indoor space of anechoic chamber, and it enables highly accurate measurement with various innovations. This paper presents the RCS measurement by the compact range system with some of measurement examples.
