Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Nested particle swarm optimization (NLPSO) has been proposed as a bifurcation point derivation method that doesnot use gradient information. NLPSO consists of PSO, which is a metaheuristic optimization method and requires no gradientinformation. However, PSO allows the update in the worse direction when updating the solution candidates, so the calculationtakes time. This study proposes a new bifurcation point search method, Nested-Layer Differential Evolution (NLDE), usingDE that does not allow deterioration, and investigates its performance.
