Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a demodulation (detection) scheme via Gaussian belief propagation (GaBP) for orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) signals. In high-speed mobile environments, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) suffers from Doppler shift effects, resulting in unstable link quality. OTFS is a one of promising transmission methods that can deal with time fluctuation induced by different Doppler shift in the delayed-Doppler domain channel that has different delay and Doppler frequencies in each multipath component. However, the typical equalization of OFTS signals based on linear minimum mean square error (MMSE) requires high-dimensional inverse matrix operations based on channel matrices. To avoid the high computational burden, we propose GaBP-aided equalization on the basis of the multi-dimensional linear regression model of OTFS signals. Simulation results demonstrate the validity of the proposed OTFS-GaBP scheme under high-speed mobile environments in terms of the bit error rate (BER) performance. |
