Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In V2I (Vehicle-to-Infrastructure) communication that connects a vehicle and RSUs (Roadside Unit), various information about the vehicles is exchanged with the RSU, which is a BS (Base Station). For 5G V2I communication, the use of millime-ter-wave bands that can secure a wide band is being considered. Since the millimeter-wave band has a large propagation loss in the air, beamforming is used to enable long-distance propagation. In beamforming using a codebook, the beam ejection direction is determined based on a predetermined codebook. However, in V2I communication, it is difficult to search the entire codebook from the viewpoint of calculation time because the channel changes drastically due to mobility. In the con-ventional method for beam alignment in V2I communication, a non-standalone network is assumed, and beam alignment is performed using the position information of surrounding vehicles collected by communication in the low frequency band with the vehicles. However, the performance of this method depends on whether the RSU has the location information of surrounding vehicles. When the connected rate of surrounding vehicles is low, the alignment accuracy deteriorates. In this paper, by using the past beam alignment information for the target vehicle and the time-series validation of the sum rate as the features, even if the peripheral vehicle arrangement cannot be collected in the RSU, the beam alignment is performed only with the information of the allocation target vehicle. suggest. Computer simulation shows that even if the proposed method is RSU and the surrounding vehicle arrangement cannot be collected, the deterioration of allocation accuracy is sup-pressed.
