Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In recent years, fifth-generation mobile communications system (5G) has been deployed, and the number of Internet of things (IoT) terminals is expected to extremely increase and to be more versatile in near future. Meanwhile, cyber-attacks against IoT has been increasing every year, and it is important to strengthen communication security to prevent these crimes. To solve this problem, encryption methods at the physical layer, that has not been used in the past, have been recently studied. As one of the physical layer encryption methods, we previously studied a chaos modulation concatenated with polar codes which is one of the radio-wave encryption methods with physical layer security, and showed that the transmission performance using polar code is better than those with other codes, while the decoding complexity is reduced. However, the decoder of polar code in the conventional method could not incorporate cyclic redundancy check (CRC) code, and the performance improvement was expected when using CRC codes. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a polar-code decoder that can be coupled with CRC codes in the chaos modulation method, and show that proposed method improves the performance compared to the conventional method by 1.4 dB at the block error rate of 10^(-4). |
