Experimental Evaluation of Frequency Domain-STBC for UL-NOMA System

Abstract(in English) In recent years, the necessity of massive connections has been increased for IoT devices. We have developed a communication system based on Up-Link Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (UL-NOMA) to achieve low latency and massive connections. In this paper, in order to improve the performance of Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC) at the base station, we conducted outdoor experiments using our system with Space-Time Block Coding in the frequency domain (FD-STBC) for transmit diversity. From the results of experiments, we conformed that our system with FD-STBC can reduce the packet error rate (PER). In addition, we showed the experimental results of our system in which both FD-STBC and repetition were applied.
