Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | For large-scale signal detection, Gaussian Belief Propagation (GaBP) is known as a method providing a near-optimal performance with low-complexity. However, GaBP is sensitive to correlated fading channels, and therefore its detection performance degrades significantly when the correlation is high. Although node selection and damped belief improve the GaBP performance under such conditions, a bit-error-rate floor can be seen at a high signal-to-noise ratio region. In this paper, we evaluate the microscopic behavior of damped beliefs in the GaBP network under a correlated fading channel. The simulation results show that the values of transmit signals, channels, and noise determine an appropriate damping factor and that the belief's magnitude tends to be lower when the signal detection succeeds. |
