Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, a method for body center of mass (CoM) position estimation using inertial sensors and an artificial neural network (ANN) was investigated. Three ANN models were designed to estimate CoM during walking of a healthy subject. Coordinate transformations of teacher CoM data were also tested. The estimation results of ANNs were in general agreement with the results of the 3D motion measurement system and it showed that it is possible to estimate CoM position using ANN.
