Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In mobile satellite communications, it is easy to be affected by obstacles such as buildings, artificial objects, roadside trees, etc., and therefore, communication interruption occurs and it is impossible to avoid the adverse effect on satellite communications. In order to improve the efficiency of mobile satellite communications, it is necessary to perform congestions control, for example, in accordance with the moving condition (frequency of appearance of obstacles, width of obstacles, moving speed, etc.). However, in the present state, it is difficult to make the running conditions of the Earth Station in Moving uniform, and there is a problem that the phenomena cannot be reproduced under the same conditions. Therefore, the authors aim at developing a mobile satellite communication evaluation system which can arrange the same experiment environment. As a part of this study, the characteristics of the shadowing area of each geostationary orbit in 47 major cities in Japan are summarized. |
