Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, energy harvesting for broadcast radio waves was studied. There had been few research on energy harvesting by broadcast radio waves, such as FM broadcast in VHF. Two types of rectifier circuits with voltage multipliers and loop antennas as receiving antennas were designed. The effect on the dc output voltage at low power inputs with high frequency was analyzed for the circuit parameter changes in the capacitors and diodes of the rectifier. Then, energy harvesting circuits scavenging FM broadcast radio waves were fabricated and measured. The experiment using the prototype circuit could scavenge the maximum power of 220 nW.
