Abstract(in English) This paper attempts to fabricate and evaluate a 4×4 Butler matrix for short millimeter-wave, based on the fabrication process of the PTFE substrate integrated waveguide using the SR direct etching of PTFE and addition of metal film by sputtering. First, the dimensions of the PTFE substrate integrated waveguide using square through-holes are determined, and the cruciform 90 ° hybrid coupler and the intersection circuit are connected by the PTFE substrate integrated waveguide to design the Butler matrix. A trial fabrication is performed by the SR direct etching of PTFE and the sputtering and electroplating of Au. The validity of the proposed structure is verified by measuring the radiation pattern.
