Proposal and Evaluation of a Target Extraction and Mapping Method for Automatic System Operation

Abstract(in English) In recent years, technologies have been proposed to improve and increase the efficiency of business operations by automatically manipulating system screens in various ways. In the conventional technology, as a preprocessing step for automatic operation of the system, a person extracts the parts to be operated automatically and maps their names with reference to the system screen. However, there is a problem that the mapping needs to be modified when the system screen is updated. In this study, we propose a method to automatically perform mapping by automatically extracting the automatic operation target and its labeled components from the information displayed on the system screen, and mechanically obtaining their plausible correspondences. We also report the evaluation results of applying the proposed method to an actual system screen.
