Abstract(in English) | To increase security at the physical layer of space division multiplexing uplink optical camera communication from a smartphone OLED screen to indoor camera, reduction of the screen luminance was aimed. Both increase of data rate and reduction of the screen luminance were achieved by adaptive thresholding of the received pixel values that sets the optimal threshold for a center cell for each outer 8-cell pattern in 3x3 cells. While error-free transmission of 216.75 kilo symbols/s was obtained at high luminance 255, error-free transmission of 168.75 kilo symbols/s was obtained at low luminance 95. |
